Comedians? IGP Reinstates Kogi Police Commissioner, Ali Janga
The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, has ordered the reinstatement of Ali Janga as the commissioner of police in Kogi State.
William Aya, the state police command spokesperson in a statement says Janga returned to office on April 3rd following an order from the IG of police, Ibrahim Idris. He said Janga was reinstated after meeting the one-week ultimatum given to him by the IGP to re-arrest the six criminals that escaped from police custody on March 28th.
Janga was removed from office after six suspects, including Kabiru Seidu and Nuhu Salisu, who had named Dino Melaye as their gun supplier, escaped from lawful police custody in Lokoja.
