The transformation in the Liverpool squad since Jurgen Klopp arrived in 2015 has been nothing short of miraculous with the Anfield side now widely considered one of the very best in world football.

This summer is likely to be a crucial one as the Reds look to keep pace with Man City, who are unlikely to be weakening any time soon.

Klopp will surely be eager to freshen up the squad with one or two new faces but not before a number of players can be expended.

It will be a big decision deciding which players leave through the other door but these three are the first Players Liverpool must sell as the German looks to boost his transfer coffers:

Divock Origi

The time has now come for Liverpool to cash in on a player who flatters to deceive all too often.

A number of loan spells have failed to do the trick and while he has made an impact on occasions this term under Klopp, the Belgian ultimately has failed to prove himself good enough and may attract a decent transfer fee come the summer.

Dejan Lovren

Injuries are becoming an increasing problem for the Croatian who has played in a World Cup Final and it could be time for him to make a move for a fresh start.

Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are clearly ahead of the former Southampton defender in the pecking order and at 29, a parting of the ways could suit all parties.

Adam Lallana

Like Lovren, injuries have hindered his progress over the last 18 months.

The England man is approaching 31 and will surely be looking for regular football at this stage of his playing career, something he is unlikely to get at Anfield.

Do you know any more players Liverpool must sell this summer?
