AC Milan Signs Salzburg’s Noah Okafor

Noah Okafor is set to join AC Milan from Salzburg on a long term deal that is set at €14m.

The player has been of Pioli’s interest after his excellent performance in the UCL encounter between Salzburg and Milan in 2022. In the first leg, both teams managed a one-all draw where Okafor put his side ahead in the 28th minute sending defender Kalulu to the ground before putting the ball past Maignan to find the back of the net.

The return leg ended in a 4:0 massacre in Guiseppe Meazza, the home of Ac Milan, the home team put four past Salzburg goal keeper to see them proceed to the next round of the competition.

The 23-year-old Switzerland International made €11m move from Basel to Salzburg in January 31, 2020, and has made 110 appearances for Salzburg scoring 34 times and assisting 23 goals.

Noah Okafor is set to do his medical on Saturday with his new club as his travel is scheduled.

Milan are also looking to bring in Samuel Chukwueze from Villareal to add to the club’s spending spree this summer after selling midfielder Sandro Tonali to Newcastle for €64m.

Noah Okafor will be an excellent addition to the Italian club which has added some legs this summer including the duo from Chelsea, Christian Pulisic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
