Rapper Blac Youngsta has finally resolved a long-standing legal issue after a Dallas court dismissed his 2020 gun case this week. The case, which involved a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, has officially been closed, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
Blac Youngsta’s attorney, Carl A. Moore, expressed his client’s relief, stating that the rapper is pleased to have the matter settled after nearly four years. Moore also praised the District Attorney’s Office for dropping the charge, noting that justice had been served.
The incident occurred in October 2020 during a routine traffic stop, where police found a handgun tucked between Youngsta’s legs. Despite the serious charge, video footage from the scene showed Youngsta cooperating with officers.
This marked Youngsta’s second gun-related arrest in two years. In September 2019, police claimed he admitted to owning a bag containing two semi-automatic pistols and prohibited ammunition found in his car. Despite rejecting a pre-trial diversion program, prosecutors ultimately dropped the 2020 case, allowing the rapper to move forward without further legal complications.
