Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of petrol from N950 to N890 per litre, effective February 1, 2025.
This move is a response to the positive outlook in global energy and gas markets, as well as the recent decrease in international crude oil prices.
The refinery cited the fluctuations in global crude oil markets, with Brent crude trading at $77.48 per barrel, a reduction of $4 from early January. Dangote Petroleum Refinery assured that this price revision reflects its commitment to transparency and fairness.
The refinery expects the price reduction to lead to a decrease in the cost of petrol nationwide, driving down prices of goods and services, and ultimately reducing the cost of living. Dangote Petroleum Refinery called on marketers to collaborate in passing on these benefits to the Nigerian populace, supporting the country’s economic recovery plan.
