The Deputy Speaker of Ekiti state House of Assembly has been impeached. Segun Adewumi was impeached by the lawmakers yesterday, Thursday, May 24th during plenary.
A new deputy speaker, Shina Animashaun, was elected to replace him. Not much is known as at the time of filing this report.
