Wikipedia page of kemi

KenyavsNigeria has been trending on Twitter, thanks to Nigerian Journalist Kemi Olunloyo. The vocal journalist was supposed to be in Kenya for African Women in Journalism 2019 #AWiJ19 but called off the trip largely for the terrorist attack that occurred in the country.

She took to her Twitter page to announce the cancellation and stated the reason was due to a security threat by Al Shabab, the bombing of the Mogadishu mayor’s office. (Read that HERE)

These quickly generated mixed reactions as the Kenyans were not having it. The dragged the journalist on twitter and some on Instagram. They were then quick to compare Kenya to Nigeria. In an attempt for the Kenyans to stay ‘woke’ Kemi did not stop there. See more tweets from her.

Then Nigerians hit back:

  1. Kemi cannot get a visa to go to Kenya or anywhere else. She is a wanted criminal. She was also a phony refugee in Canada.

You can lie about it. You have very little traffic and most of that traffic thinks you are a failed blogger.

You are not convincing anybody. Haha
