IPOB Members Attack Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu In Germany, Strip Him (Video)

NIGERIA: Ike Ekweremadu, the immediate past Deputy Senate president, was disgraced by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at a function in Nuremberg, Germany today Saturday August 17th.

Although the reason for the attack is yet to be ascertained, a video trending online shows the IPOB members throwing stones at Ekweremadu, calling on him to go back home and about killings in Nigeria. The politician was immediately whisked away from the venue by the organizers.

Ekweremadu who served as Deputy Senate President from 2007 to 2019, was re-elected for the fifth consecutive time as the Senator representing Enugu West senatorial district in the 2019 elections.

  1. The argument here is that Ike Ekweremadu was there as 2nd in command of the Senate when his people: the indigenous People of Biafra were proscribed as terrorist group by the Zoo judiciary dominated by Fulani people.
