Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United to secure the signing of Willian from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.
According to The Sun, the Portuguese coach wants the Red Devils to make a move for the Brazilian attacker, who has been in fine form for the west London club in recent weeks.
According to the same story, Mourinho has sent Manchester United scouts to keep an eye on Willian on a number of occasions this season.
It is claimed that the Red Devils unsuccessfully tried to sign Willian last summer but they are poised to make a fresh move to try and land the 29-year-old this term.
The same report says that Willian is preparing to sit down with Chelsea FC at the end of the season to discuss his contract situation.
The story also says that Willian could end up costing as much as £60m despite him being in the final years of his career.
Willian has scored 13 goals and made seven assists in all competitions for Chelsea FC so far this season.
Meanwhile, Willian was unable to prevent Chelsea FC from slipping to a disappointing 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
