I will blog my full experience to commend this hospital on my second visit and tell you what I uncovered in my first surgery on Nigerian soil. The federal government is losing good doctors because of this. We have it all in Nigerian healthcare. We just NEED FUNDING!!!! Funding for these private hospitals and public ones too. Nobody has to go abroad for these surgeries. A hip surgery and a spinal surgery was performed in this hospital over the weekend. The theater they call it here aka OR (Operation Room🇺🇸) was clean and STERILE in this age of #COVID19, nobody has to catch CORONAVIRUS because they had surgery.

Mine was a Wedge Excision of my toenail on the big toe. It was a bad ingrown toe nail and I couldn’t wear shoes or walk distances anymore. We must start trusting our doctors. Doren hospital has renewed my faith in Nigerian healthcare. Stay tuned for the posts by clicking SUBSCRIBE or FOLLOW by email on my personal blog www.kemitalks.com. I’m currently resting as the anaesthesia has worn out and pain with inflammation quietly set in. I’m being managed with narcotic pain killer Codeine Sulfate 8mg/500 anti-inflammatory drug Diclofenac 75mg and Ciprofloxacin 500mg to prevent infection. I’m very drowsy due to the codeine dose. My Admin and Publicist Bolaji Cole will continue to post digital content for you. Go to my friends and colleagues @punchnewspapers @saharareporters for NEWS. Somehow I thank my Lord that I don’t work in an office or outside job because I cannot go out for at least 3 weeks till healed so around the house my leg must be elevated to allow blood flow into the foot and prevent cramping.
Thank you to all my fans who have been wishing me well. I’m getting ready to renew my DSTV for a month as I will be spending my medical leave watching TV.
