The Nigerian government has taken its social media gagging up a notch. We can report that the presidency has banned Journalist Kemi Olunloyo from tagging them, especially @MuhammaduBuhari.
From the look of things the days of Nigeria social media censorship is here, even if the minister of Information, Lai Mohammed expertly denies it in public.
In a post by the journalist, she said of how she got the notification and how her post activity gets frozen when ever she tags the presidency.
This move comes as the government via the Central bank of Nigeria is clamping down on the front liners of the #EndSARS protest. The apex bank says it acquired a court order on grounds of terrorism ties.
