She has really come a long way. A veteran indeed. Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo is celebrating 20 years of blogging. Kemi has always proved to be a force to reckon with in blogging, journalism, public relations, and health matters.
She has been celebrated severally internationally and locally. It is also notable that she was also one of the first on PYRA before later it became GOOGLE.

PLS CELEBRATE MY NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT
20 YEARS OF BLOGGING🖥️⌨️🖱️🖲️🇳🇬 In 1989, I joined the world wide web aka the internet. In 1997 I joined @aol #Americaonline which started the messaging system with the voice “you got mail!” when email was introduced. Then the phrase “are you online?” got famous.
On October 5th 1999 in the United States of America, an interface called Pyra was launched for logging the web. Logging means taking a story from the web and reposting it in your own words sourcing it and crediting it to the owner.
The word “WEBlogging” was then separated taking the “WE” out and the rest spelled “Blogging”. We started writing stories scrolling down instead of across.
I was featured on several magazines in America and Canada on my work blogging gun violence, music news, health etc etc including Atlanta Woman, @TIME, @Newsweek, MacCleans, global newspapers like @nationalpost @globeandmail, radio, TV too many to mention. In 2006, Linda Ikeji a popular upcoming Nigerian blogger at the time told @channelstelevision that she “wanted to be a top blogger like Kemi Olunloyo one of the Top 10 pioneer bloggers in the world who lived in America”. I laugh when her fans who were 6yo at the time say I want to be like Linda🙄😁 Linda has never even taught blogging one time. I have held several blogging seminars online in US, Canada and Nigeria. You have to give back to the community and empower upcoming bloggers. In 2020, I will hand select 100 aspiring bloggers and train them FREE in a partnership with two organizations. Stay tuned and follow announcement updates on all my platforms. My new blog www.noleavenotransfer.com goes LIVE at 3pm. Watch what I do over there. Open a blogger account to comment.
