Nigeria’s music industry is still mourning the death of Picture Kodak, video vixen who died from electrocution. The story is that she was at Clarence Peter’s dance studio after some dance routine took a break to charge up her phone battery.
Her chest had the burn imprint of the phone she supposedly was charging up.
Nigerian investigative journalist who was one of the confirmed sources of the news said it was broken to her by singer Tiwa Savage.
Kemi has explained the two major factors responsible for the sad death and also how the police botched the investigation.
Read her expository below:
#IJKodakdeath LAGOS police Spokesman @ElkanaBala said Peters was not charged with murder nor arrested but was invited. DCP Yetunde Longe allegedly compromised the investigation with a “murder coverup” after destroying two police reports. This in itself is a form of Defamation.
#IJKodakDeath The investigation should not be a long drawn one as I want to see transparency & facts drawn out of it. Between the 30th April and today, I have interviewed several eyewitnesses, music artists, industry people familiar with Peters. He’s a victim of this tragedy too.
#IJKodakdeath On the 30th of April, Tiwa Savage broke the news to me that one of her dancers died the previous night. Kodak is Love Devine a music video dancer or what they call “video vixen”. She was electrocuted & died partly due to negligence of the first responders a hospital
#IJKodakdeath What happened to Love Devine was an accident. A tragic word that denotes something not intentional. I am asking DCP Yetunde Longe to be REMOVED from the investigation IMMEDIATELY. Peters is the son of two public figures and there is a conflict of interest.
Everybody that dies today of an illness this year 2020 must be tested for #coronavirus as it’s an active disease even when someone’s a corpse. If they test positive there needs to be contact tracing for who they’ve exposed the disease to. #IJCovid19 #drkemiolunloyo
