If you are a resident of Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos, you will surely not miss the bad road that has characterized the area. The Abule-Illogbo road has become a complete nightmare and leaves residents in agony and so much pain as commuters now charge more and traders find it difficult as fare now eats deep into their capital.
The House of Assembly member for Ojo Constituency II, Honorable Tijani Surajudeen Emir twice made moves to see that the pain is reduced. When reporterswall approached him last year he assured us that the plight of the residents has been properly represented and he promised to follow up and get us real-time feedback… which he did.
Below is a chart of the list of roads that have been recently awarded in Lagos State that was made available to reporterswall by Hon. Tijani and reporterswall can confidently report that the failed part of the Abule-Illogbo road (Iyana-Era) made the list (highlighted). Hopefully, works will soon commence and joy shall return again.
