Lionel Messi‘s father has been spotted boarding a private jet as he looks to accelerate his son’s exit from Barcelona.
The Argentine has shocked the footballing world after handing in a transfer request at the Nou Camp.
However, Barca are pushing to keep the embattled 33-year-old and have the backing of La Liga.

It has been speculated that he could be on his way to Manchester to meet Pep Guardiola.
The Spaniard has a close relationship with Messi, who had his best spell under the Catalan during their time at Barcelona.
A condition detailed in his Barca deal reveals that the six-time Ballon d’Or winner could leave the club if he wanted to for nothing, but that expired in June while both parties are on a collision course.
Messi believes the clause should be extended due to the fact that the Covid-19 crisis has decimated the footballing calendar.
A move to City would certainly be a surprise to the world, though if the Argentina international were to leave Barcelona the Etihad has been made a favourite among the bookies.
