Luis Suarez Finally Terminates Contract With Barcelona

Luis Suarez has been finally let go by Barcelona after reportedly agreeing a termination of his contract.

It appears that Atletico Madrid is the next destination for the Uruguayan striker, according to Spanish outlet RAC.

And the anticipated departure of Suarez will lead to Atletico shifting on former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, who will now return to Juventus on loan.

The 33-year-old had been widely expected to make the move to Juventus.

As per Italian outlet Gazzette dello Sport, the new Juventus boss said: ”Suarez is difficult because the times to get a passport are long, it is complicated that [our new striker] can be him.”

Since his move to Juve became a mission impossible, that allowed Atletico to swoop in, with Diego Simeone looking to pair Suarez with Diego Costa up front.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed the extent of damage done on full-back Kieran Tierney. The Scot was withdrawn during West Ham United clash on Saturday night and replaced by Sead Kolasinac after feeling an issue in the warm-up. Gunners fans were understandably worried about the ex-Celtic defender, given the injury issues that plagued Tierney’s first season with the club. But Arteta has insisted that the 23-year-old is “fine”. He said: “Kieran is fine. He had a little muscular discomfort in the last few days. “He tried today and worked in the warm-up but he wasn’t feeling comfortable today. “We believed that he was going to be fit but during the warm-up, in the last ten minutes, he said he wasn’t feeling OK.
