Maguire Reveals How Man Utd Dressing Room Reacted After Sheffield Defeat

Manchester United’s defeat against Sheffield United on Wednesday night has left the Red Devils lagging behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.

Chris Wilder’s side took Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men down 2-1 at Old Trafford.

And Harry Maguire revealed how the dressing room reacted to the loss, confessing that he and his team-mates were “devastated”.

United have the chance to bounce back against Arsenal this weekend, and Maguire explained how the Red Devils are planning to regain their spot at the summit.

“When you get beaten there’s nothing worse than having to wait to put things right.

“The boys are devastated, it’s a really quiet dressing room, we didn’t expect it, but we have to pick ourselves up, it hurts but Saturday is a big game and we have to bounce back.

“It’s all good and easy when you’re winning football matches and playing well, now we’ve got to stand up and be counted.

“When you get kicked down it’s how you bounce back.

“Saturday’s a big game and we have to go and get three points.”
