Manchester United are still interested in signing Jadon Sancho before the October 5 transfer deadline.
Borussia Dortmund have since ruled out completing sale of the England international this year as they have already begun their preparations for the upcoming season.
However, German transfer expert Jan Aage Fjortoft has explained that Lucien Favre’s side will not go back on their warning but there could be one way for United to strike a deal.
“Sancho is still the main priority of Man Utd,” Fjortoft tweeted. “That I understand.
“Would be a great asset for the club on and off the pitch. Problem: No culture in Germany selling players ‘too late’.
“As I see it: Only game changer is a BIG bid.”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have already spent £40m on Donny van de Beek this summer so it is unlikely they will be able to come up with such a big bid.
