Manchester United may no longer be signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho as hopes are ‘fading’ rapidly away.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are looking at signing alternative targets on loan deals.
According to the Telegraph, the Bundesliga giants are standing strong on their asking price, which has forced United to concede that a deal for the winger is now unlikely this summer.
It’s claimed that the 20-year-old will remain on United’s shortlist and that the Red Devils will instead target a loan deal for a right winger as a stop-gap until 2021.
Gareth Bale, Ivan Perisic and Douglas Costa have all been linked as potential signings.
Solskjaer was keen on signing Costa last summer, while Perisic was a target for United in 2017.
The Norwegian hopes to make at least two more signings and he admitted earlier this week that the club are looking at doing so.
