Mancini Recalls Italy’s Euro 2020 Winning Squad For World Cup Qualifiers

Head Coach of the new European Champions (Italy), Roberto Mancini has recalled his fit-winning team players on Friday while Nicolò Zaniolo returned from a lengthy injury layoff.

A number of 34 players was released by Mancini as he prepares to take on Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania for the World Cup Qualifiers – Leonardo Spinazzola is the absentee from the 26-man squad that conquered Europe in July

In addition to the team is Roma midfielder, Zaniolo who returns to the team after recovering from a long injury layoff a year ago while Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca earned his first call-up to the senior squad.

Italy will hope to extend their current unbeaten run of 35 matches when they file t to face Bulgaria in Florence on Sept. 2,  Switzerland in Basel three days later, before hosting Lithuania in Reggio Emilia on Sept. 8.
