Meghan Markle And Harry ‘Snub’ William And Kate’s Christmas Offer

Former Hollywood actress, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will reportedly snub the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this Christmas.

The Sussexes will reportedly spend the festive period with the Queen at Sandringham after declining an invite to stay at Will and Kate’s Norfolk home.

Harry and mum-to-be Meghan were given the option to stay at nearby Anmer Hall where they had a “fantastic” time last year with the kids, it is reported.

A royal source told The Sun: “There’s not a huge amount of room at Sandringham so it’s quite surprising. Maybe they just want their own space.
“Things are civil between the couples but they don’t spend much time together.”

The news comes amid reports of a feud between the two families.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to set up home in Windsor – away from Will and Kate – to raise a family in a quieter setting.

One royal source suggested the move could be down to friction between Meghan and Kate which has driven wedge between the two brothers.

“Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on”, an insider told the Daily Mail .

It was also reported that Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland will not be at Sandringham despite being invited, according to the Sun.
Christmas at the royal stately home in Norfolk is a traditional, and sometimes stifling, affair.

Royal biographer Christopher Wilson said: “Sandringham Christmases can be an ordeal, even for those born royal — and generally those who’ve married into the family can’t wait to get away.

The Cambridges will then see Kate’s parents on Boxing Day in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

Kensington Palace has not yet commented.
