Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth. Was A Secret, Low-key Ceremony

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are believed to have tied the knot in a low-key ceremony at home.

The singer, 26, and actor, 28, who got engaged six years ago, were seen cutting their wedding cake in one of a series of photos and videos from the event on social media.

The pair’s surfer friend Conrad Jack Carr shared a photo of Miley in an off-the-shoulder ivory dress standing beside a dapper-looking Liam as they held a knife beside a tiered cake.

According to RadarOnline, Miley and Liam wed at their $5.8million farmhouse in Franklin, Tennessee – where the singer was born.

The newlyweds were apparently joined by both families, including Liam’s Australian relatives and Miley’s country singer father Billy Ray Cyrus.

Miley’s mother Tish appears in one of the images, looking very casual in jeans and a black shirt, suggesting their families may not have even known about the ceremony until the last minute.

Adding to the wedding speculation is the addition of ‘Mr and Mrs’ balloons in the photos, as well as cream cupcakes.

The singer’s little sister Noah shared a photo of herself in a black hoodie with family friend Conrad with the ‘Mr and Mrs’ balloons behind them.

In another photo, Noah appeared to be crying tears of joy as she took a selfie with a broken heart emoji.

In a video shared by Conrad, Liam is seeing doing a ‘shotski’ with his actor brothers Chris, 35, and Luke, 38, who had flown over from Australia for the ‘do.
Their nuptials come after a nine-year on/off relationship between the couple, who started dating on the set of The Last Song movie.

Liam proposed in June 2012, before they split the following year.

They went on to have romances with other people, before reuniting in January 2016.

Speaking about their broke up, Miley said: “I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard. Suddenly you’re like, ‘I don’t recognise you anymore.’ We had to re-fall for each other.”

Among the women linked to Liam during their split included Eiza Gonzalez and Maika Monroe, while Miley dated model Stella Maxwell and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

In March, a friend of the couple said they were planning a secret, spur-of-the-moment ceremony: “She hasn’t announced anything because she is being very secretive so only their friends will know and at the very last minute. This time they are doing everything their own way.”
In an interview earlier this month, Miley was asked if Liam was her fiance: “Kind of.”

Their nuptials come a few weeks after the couple lost their $2.52million Malibu home in the fatal wildfires which ravaged the Los Angeles area.

A devastated Miley praised Liam for rescuing all their animals: “Liam – I’ve never loved him more for this.

“I call him my survival partner now, and he thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. That is why you pair up with someone is for survival.

“And, he was so incredible. He got all the animals out in his truck. He put two pigs in crates, which I tell you is so hard.”

Meanwhile, it’s not clear if Miley’s brother Trace or her superstar godmother Dolly Parton was among the guests at the surprise wedding ceremony.

Following the Malibu fire, Miley and Liam have been living at their Tennessee farm.

The singer bought the five-bedroom farmhouse and 33 acres of land in August 2017 – a stone’s throw from where she grew up.
