A Nigerian pastor, Sunday Adelaja, based in Ukrain said he and his wife have escaped from besieged Kiev because his name is on the hit list of Russia’s strongman Vladimir Putin.
Adelaja in a video posted on Facebook said he has been in Putin’s black book since 2005 and was banned from entering Russia.
He said he was not surprised that he is being hunted by Putin’s hitmen.
Before he escaped from Kiev, Adelaja said he threw open to Nigerian students the bunker in his house.

Adelaja on Friday posted the remains of the bombed bridge to his Kiev house.
“This is the remains of the bridge connecting the capital of Ukraine Kyiv to my house. Today it lies in ruins. No more connection to the city or from there.
“We pray for a quick and godly resolution to this damn war in Ukraine
“A big thank you to all who have been concerned about Ukraine and our well being.
“The Lord shall remember you in times of your needs, in Jesus name”, he wrote.
