Manchester United are optimistic that Paulo Dybala will complete a switch to Old Trafford this summer.
His entourage are already in England for talks with United as they sound out the best possible solution for their client.
The 25-year-old has been made to feel unwanted by Juventus who are keen to bring Romelu Lukaku to Turin as part of a swap deal.
He has been told by the club not to return to training until Monday, despite retuning to Turin yesterday from his summer holidays.
According to Sky Sports man Kaveh Solhekol, there is one reason why Dybala could be persuaded to move to Old Trafford.
“It still rests on Dybala; whether he wants to come to Manchester United or not,” he told Sky Sports News.
“Our colleagues in Sky in Italy at the moment say he would prefer to stay at Juventus.
“But if Juventus make it clear to him he doesn’t have a future at Juventus then I think he would come to Manchester United.
“It’s proving difficult to convince him to come to United from Juventus because at Juventus he has Champions League football – and he won’t have that if he comes to United.”
There are said to be doubts from Dybala’s end as to whether United is deemed the right step for him in his career.
Dybala will tell Maurizio Sarri what he intends to do once he returns to training.
