The Social Democratic Party (SDP), has suspended its two presidential candidates, Professor Jerry Gana and Mr. Donald Duke, from the party for alleged anti-party activities.

The party’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yemi Akinbode, announced this during a press briefing at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday, February 12th.

This decision comes days after a faction of the party adopted President Buhari as its consensus candidate for the Saturday, February 16th presidential election.

Both Duke and Gana are yet to react to their suspension.
