Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has again stated that she is yet to receive any summons by the Nigerian police. Earlier a Nigerian Senior Advocate, Femi Falana had stated the investigative journalist will be summoned owing to her comments on the #JusticeForSylvester case.
As of today which happens to be Day 5 from the day the SAN gave the notice for the petition, nothing was served.
Kemi in one of her Space show on Twitter called Falana an overrated SAN who feels above the law. According to her, Falana carries a dangerous ego which he feels he can use to intimidate the government and protect the people.
She stated that she is planning to sue him for spoiling her name. She added that the lawyer wants to use the same scare tactics he uses with successive government.
She advised the family to fire their lawyer and use their senses.
Stressing that Falana is a distraction who is not focused and doesn’t care about civil, legal and human rights of anyone.
Kemi also said that the era of those who spoil her name in the country will soon end. She stressed that she has information that would make or break Sylvester Oromoni’s case which is designed to ruin the reputation of so many other Nigerians.
According to her, one of the children in police custody is holding a document that shows that Sylvester consented to the beating and maltreatment which led to his death.
She suggested that the Oromoni’s family and the staff in police custody should undergo a lie detector test because they have a lot of information the dying child shared with them which they did not post on social media.
Kemi boasted of being an award winning investigative journalist of 27 years and not an internet blogger or a social media personality.
She said she is a journalist and she knows her mission and will not be intimidated. She lashed out at celebrities and their fans who are sending her violent threats. Kemi also added that no one can suppress the truth because she is the truth.
