Solskjaer Far From Happy With Man Utd Latest Signing, Only Faking In Public

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is far from happy, regardless of the brave front he’s put on in public.

United paid £40million to sign Donny Van de Beek from Ajax at the start of September.

And, speaking on Friday night ahead of his side’s Premier League showdown with Crystal Palace, insisted he was relaxed on the transfer front.

Solskjaer isn’t going to slam the owners like Jose Mourinho did. That damaged the dressing room – and the Norwegian is still repairing it.

But, behind closed doors, he’s growing disgruntled.

He wants Jadon Sancho – but the Borussia Dortmund star continues to elude them.

Solskjaer wants United to sign an alternative but that will be easier said than done.

Fans were quick to criticise Solskjaer after his press conference on Friday.

Many on social media wanted him to kick up a fuss but that will never be his style.

Behind closed doors, he’s a tougher character.

The Independent quote a source as saying he “operates in ‘an old-school Scandinavian mode of management’ which affords the players an awful lot of trust, both in their lives and on the pitch.”

And he’s disappointed.

He felt Sancho would be his by now but that isn’t happen and doesn’t look likely to happen, either.
