The Super Eagles will smile home with $192,500 after beating Cameroon in the round of 16 of ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Alteo boss Benedict Peters had pledged to give the team $100,000 if they beat Cameroon and additional $25,000 per goal.

It’s also understood that the Lagos state government also promised to remunerate each player with $5,000 while the NFF will pay each player $12,500 as earlier agreed with the players.

The players put the crushing defeat to Madagascar behind them and sent the defending champions packing from the tournament.

Three-time African Champions will now take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Quater final game, scheduled for Cairo International Stadium on Wednesday.
