Justice of the Kabba Resident High Court Judge in Kogi state, Aromeh Benson Akogu who was handling the case of the attempted assassination of Senator Dino Melaye, has died.
Reports say Justice Akogu died during his church’s crossover service in Anyigba, Kogi state at about 11.40pm on December 31st 2017. Family and friends sources say the deceased was neither sick nor showed any symptom of illness before his sudden death.
His body has been deposited at the Grimmard Hospital Mortuary, Anyigba.
Until his death, Justice Akogu was handling the trial of the suspects arrested in connection with the April 2017 assassination attempt on Senator Dino Melaye.
