With the Just concluded Ekiti State election and the forthcoming Osun State election, Nigerians can just kind of have a feel of what 2019 general elections will look and feel like. The Ekiti State election was held early this month and the Osun State election is slated for September 22.

From the look of things, there are two political parties to look out for and watch as the Osun people go to the polls come 22nd of September. This is not in any way to undermine any other political party that will be contesting in the state elections.

So, the two political parties to look out for are the PDP, (Peoples Democratic Party) and the APC, All Progressives Congress. The flag bearer of the PDP is the dancing senator Ademola Adeleke and the flag bearer of the APC is Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.

ADEMOLA ADELEKE was born in Enugu State to an Igbo woman. I guess a lot of people did not know that. And yes she gave our ‘dancing senator’ his good looks. He has two sons who are singers and are signed HKN record label owned by the Adeleke. He is an uncle to Nigerian award-winning singer Davido. Senator Adeleke was elected senator after the death of this brother Senator Isiaka Adeleke. He worked with Guinness after which he proceeded to work at his brother’s conglomerate, Pacific Holdings Limited

The Senator, Ademola  Adeleke is a certified criminologist, this he got from the United States of America, Alabama. And his hobby is dancing among others.

Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola was born in Osun State and attended the University of Lagos, Unilag where he studied INSURANCE and MBA Finance (1978 and 1990). In 1991 he started his own company, Silver Trust Insurance Brokers Limited and did quite well for himself after the bold step. After establishing the company he was managing director till he was appointed Chief of Staff in 2011.

All eyes will be on Osun come September 22 especially with all the massive defection going on between the APC and the PDP. It looks like the battle line has been drawn people. But there may still be some surprises for us. We can only wait and see.
