The First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, has sadly passed away.
The State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, announced her death in a statement this morning, revealing that she succumbed to an undisclosed illness on September 26, 2024, at a hospital surrounded by her family.
In the heartfelt statement titled “Unexpected Sunset,” Ememobong expressed the deep sorrow of the Akwa Ibom Government, stating: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.” The family has requested prayers and support from the community during this difficult time and has asked for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
