Two Die At Buhari’s Presidential Rally In Taraba State

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, expressed sadness at the death of two persons, who died during his presidential campaign today in Jalingo, Taraba State.

His personal assistant on media, Bashir Ahmed shared the president’s condolence message on his verified Twitter handle.

He tweeted, “President Muhammadu Buhari expresses sadness over the death of two persons as a result of overcrowding at his presidential campaign today in Jalingo, Taraba State.

“I always feel very sad and distressed when ordinary Nigerians who love me and our party because of what we stand for and have done, make personal sacrifices by taking the pains to show their support, end their lives tragically”. – Pres. @MBuhari on Taraba tragedy.”
