Nigeria’s former Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar while giving a speech at the 2017 Silverbird Man Of The Year Awards made reference to the ‘snake’ swallowing our money.
In his words, ‘we have to kill the snake of corruption that swallows our commonwealth meant to lift our people out of poverty. Whether the snake is in a JAMB office or any other government office, we must kill it before it kills us’.
