Ajimobi And The Fake Drug Battle. The NAFDAC Role

The former governor of Oyo, Abiola Ajimobi died yesterday, reportedly from Coronavirus complications and more reports are coming in about his death.

Abiola Ajimobi died after contracting coronavirus. He had a lung surgery that was reportedly successful. They tried to treat the former governor with Remdesivir.

Remdesivir is sold under the brand name Veklury. It is a broad-spectrum antiviral medication developed by the biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences. It is administered via injection into a vein.

In a live video hosted by SaharaReporters, Pharmacist/Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo made it known that the drug from Indonesia was fake! N50million was paid for it.

She also made it known that due to a failed system at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, the drug came in without proper checks.

Kemi Olunloyo went down memory lane to remind Nigerians how she fought for drug regulation in Nigeria, also when she fought the late Prof. Dora Akunyili who died in India (probably from fake drugs) after a lost battle with cancer.

Do you think we have the wrong people in the wrong places at the helm of affairs in Nigeria?
